NordNog also has a mailinglist for the discussion of NordNog meeting plans and for operational matters in the Nordics, hosted by SUNET, the swedish academic network.
To be able to post to the NordNog discussion list you must be subscribed to it. This is just to keep spam out; as long as people behave (and you will, right?) no approval procedures for joining or posting will be used. We have lifes to lead and networks to manage as well ;-)
To subscribe to the NordNog mailing list, send an e-mail to LISTSERV@SEGATE.SUNET.SE with the string
subscribe NORDNOG J. Random Routertech <jrr@isp.nordic.region>in the body. Substitute "J. Random Routertech" and "jrr@isp.nordic.region" with your own name and e-mail address. If you omit the e-mail adress inside <> the From-address in the e-mail header will be used instead.
Postings to the list can then be sent to the list address NORDNOG@NORDNOG.ORG, which is an alias for NORDNOG@SEGATE.SUNET.SE; both adresses will get them there.
Unsubscribing is done similarly; send the string
unsubscribe NORDNOG J. Random Routertech <jrr@isp.nordic.region>to LISTSERV@SEGATE.SUNET.SE, and follow the instructions. Substitute "J.
